How long is a warranty for a product?

The warranty period is one year. It begins with the product handover to the carrier or at the latest with the handover to the customer.

However, MISUMI is not liable for damage that does not occur to the delivery object itself. In particular, MISUMI is not liable for loss of profit or other damage to the customer's assets.

The warranty obligation is also negated in the following cases:

  • In the case of modification or repair to the product by the customer without written consent from MISUMI
  • In the absence of, improper or careless use or handling of the product by the customer
  • In cases of natural wear of the product or other circumstances for which MISUMI is not responsible
  • If a customer fails to provide adequate opportunity and time to perform remedial work or replacement delivery
